Super Healthy Seniors

For the past two weeks, Senior Infants have been learning all about healthy habits. We talked about the importance of eating well and keeping fit. We learned that they play a vital role in keeping our organs healthy!

So today, we had a ‘fruit and veg’ taster class. We tried lots of different fruit like bananas, kiwis, grapes, apples and melons. We also tasted carrot and turnip sticks, cucumber and peppers. And to wash it all down, we decided to make fruit smoothies. They were delicious!! Well done to everyone who tried new food that they hadn’t tasted before!
